IH Parts America can perform just about anything you want to your IH Light Duty vehicle. From mild to wild. Thru the years we have completed many custom build-ups which have received many awards. Below is a list of services we perform on Scout 80/800's, Scout II’s, Pick-ups, and Travelalls. Sorry, but we do not service nor work on medium or heavy duty trucks and tractors.

Restorations and Custom Buildup's

Complete restorations performed with major emphasis on modernization. We do all the work in house except for final paint. From show quality restorations to custom offroad build-ups we are your shop.

Spring Over Axle Conversions

We have performed many SOA conversions through the years. When it comes to these types of lifts we don’t mess around. Every SOA conversion comes back to you with a fully detailed chassis, a functioning parking brake, and better driving characteristics compared to stock - something most other SOA conversions don’t. Bilstein shocks are standard on our conversions as well as a CV rear driveline and Long Travel front driveshaft. CPT 5/8" Heavy duty ubolts and CPT 3/8" thick heavy duty ubolt plates are used. New Energy Suspension leaf spring bushings are installed. A CPT Reverse shackle kit is installed along with a PartsMike Hysteer kit. Front axle housing is normally replaced with a GM Dana 44 housing already designed for the leafspring over the axle. All brakes are rebuilt or serviced as needed. Longer CPT stainless steel brakelines installed. Upgrade your SOA with optional CPT bumpstops and swaybar kits.Our SOA conversions are not cheap but are worth every penny. Reverse Shackle

Make your Scout 80/800 or Scout II ride better with one of our CPT Crawler Proven Technology reverse shackle conversions. Our kits can be used on both stock spring under and SOA spring over axle suspensions. From a mild daily driver to a wild rock crawler our kit works with them all.

Engine and Drivetrain Service

We offer complete engine, transmission , and transfer case assemblies. Call us for the many different custom drivetrains parts we make available for Scout and other IH Light Line vehicles. From performance engines to overdrive transmissions to custom built axles and more. Installation available upon request. We can rebuild your parts as well as supply a core if needed.

Custom Fabrication

We perform all types of custom fabrication. From tube bending to custom sheet metal work. Custom bumpers, roll cages, and sliders. You name it - chances are we can fabricate it! All custom fabricated parts come with a lifetime warranty against defects and workmanship.
