used in 1982-1986 Jeep CJ vehicles.
In the past this part was only
available as salvage or reconditioned part and they were nearly
impossible to find.
We know this from our own firsthand experience
as this is the primary speedometer pinion gear holder that is used with the Advance Adapters Atlas Transfer Case.
Advance Adapters has begun production on their own precision machined billet aluminum version of this elusive item for use with the Atlas Transfer Case, Jeep Dana 300 transfer case and heavy duty putput assemblies.
Made to factory OEM specs this speedometer pinion holder makes for a perfect replacement for your Dana 300 or Atlas Transfer Case.
Note: This speedometer assembly is not needed in 1987-up Jeep vehicles.
The drive gear is sold separately due to speedometer calibration for tire size and axle gear ratio.
