CPT Stainless Steel Fuel Tank for Scout 80/800
Our tanks are meticulously tig-welded, baffled, and factory-fitted – no modifications required towards fitment. New fuel lines will need to be crafted to suit tank. Each purchase includes a fuel tank sending unit, lower tank drain plug, upper tank brass vent fitting, and four mounting bolts, along with gaskets and screws.
Choose between standard fuel pickup or in-tank pump options, available for left or right fitment.
Please note that for dual in-tank fuel pump setups, we currently lack a 100psi-rated switching valve solution. Reach out for guidance.
The tank suits early 1961-62 Scout 80 models with a filler neck adjustment to the later 63-71 style, requiring minimal trimming.

Q: I have poly tanks in my 800B. The fuel sender mounts on the side which in the past that gasket has leaked fuel. I want to confirm your tanks have the fuel sender at the top of the tank and a vent. A much better design from factory if so. No longer have to worrie about fuel leaking out of the side mounted fuel sender. With the vent do the tanks fill easily with California fuel pumps that have the bellow on the nozzle. For ease I've been filling mine with a 5 ga gas can.
A: On the stainless tanks, the sending unit and pickup/in tank fuel pump do mount from the top down. You should be able to fill up at a CA gas pump with the vent. I haven't used the new tanks, but I welded a vent in my old Scout 80 steel tanks and was able to fill it at a gas pump like a newer vehicle. Minus having to hold the nozzle. Thanks.
Q: What is the pressure rating of the in tank fuel pump?
A: 100 psi
