CPT Crawler Proven Technology Reverse Shackle kits are
fairly easy to install and significantly improve ride
quality.
We took our well proven Scout II reverse shackle kit and tweaked it a little by adding some spacers to compensate for the early Scout's narrower leafsprings and included some new front leafspring bushings that have shoulders on them.
Designed for ALL 1961-71 Scout 80 or 800.
Fangs are for a 2" wide leaf spring but include a spacer to compensate for the narrower leafspring.
Angled design
of front leaf spring hanger allows front axle to be moved
slightly forward to keep the tire from hitting the rear of
the front fender well yet allows stock bumper to stay
untouched in the stock location if desired.
This is a shackle thru frame design. A holesaw and pilot drill bit are included in the kit in order to drill holes in the frame for the shackle bushing sleeve.
This reverse shackle kit will greatly improves ride quality on road yet will absorb those hard bumps off road. For better ride quality on the street or for your rock crawler this kit will work for almost any application.
Includes all Grade 8 hardware.
Will work on stock spring under axle or spring over axle suspension.

New long travel front driveshaft highly recommended and available separately on our online store.
