Q: I have a 1966 1100A with a BG 241. I’m assuming this will bolt on and work. However, I have a few questions:
1. Will the accelerator linkages require any special instructions or adaptations to fit the original linkages?
2. Will the carb allow for the original oil bath air filter to bolt on - is it the same as the original set up?
3. Will the carbs fuel and vacuum steel lines bolt up?
4. Does the carb come with a spacer between the carb and intake surface?
5. Are there instructions for mounting and hookup for my particular engine, BG 241 (inline 6 cyl)
6. Is there anything else I’d need to know so I’m not surprised as to mounting instructions?
7. Am I missing another carb you have in stock that would work better?

A: This is a universal carburetor. You will be responsible for adapting all the linkage(s). Yes, you can use your oil bath you currently have, just purchase the adapter. You will need new fuel lines. It comes with a base gasket. We do not have specific instructions.
Q: What does the option to air filter mean
A: It means you can ADD A AIR FILTER to your order.
Q: I have the 1904 on my 56 S120. Will this work on the bd240? My thoughts are that it would as it’s a fairly universal carb from what I’ve learned with some variation between Ford and IH applications. (Based on complete factory manual I’ve downloaded)
I see it’s out of stock. Is it something that will be available anytime soon?

A: Yes, we have had many people install them on a 240 with no issues.
Q: Will this fit an International Harvester R110 series? What is the distance of the holes for the Stuts on Intake manifold?
A: These are a universal fit up to a 300 c.i. engine. w/2-bolt flange.
2-5/8 inch C to C
3-1/4 inch Max bolt hole
2.5 Inch Min. Bolt hole
It has about half-inch slot for adjustment.
Q: Will this work on a 1951 L110 pickup with a 220 cu in L6?
A: Yes, it will work for up to a 300ci engine.
Q: Does the air filter option include air filter housing?
A: There is no housing for the air filter.
