CPT Disc Brake Conversion Kit for 1972-73 D-Series Pickup or Travelall with Open Knuckle Dana 44

The CPT kit offers a complete solution to upgrade your factory Lockheed style 11"x3" drum brakes to modern GM disc brakes with Wilwood Twin-Piston Calipers. Please note that this kit is compatible exclusively with open-knuckle axle housings, not closed-knuckle ones.

This kit will replace ALL PARTS, including axle shafts. This kit will also push your wheels out about 1/4"-1/2" out, due to the GM spindle being slightly longer, thus the new axle shafts. We only use genuine Dana Spicer axle shafts when possible or 4130 chromeoly and u-joints.

Kit includes:

x2 Axle Spindle
x2 Wilwood Twin Piston Caliper
Timken Wheel Bearings
Brake Pads
Spindle Nuts & Washers
Brake Hub and Rotor Assembly with Studs (Pre-Assembled)
Warn Premium Locking Hub Set
Zinc Coated Caliper Brackets
Axle Shaft Mud Slingers
Banjo-Bolts (NOTE: Brake lines will not be provided, there are too many variations of lines for us to offer. We recommend sourcing custom ones at a local hose shop or getting comporable part at local auto parts house)
Inner Axle Shafts
Outer Stub Shafts
Spicer Forged Axle U-Joints

If you are needing to do brake work on your front end, and it is all smoked out, bad drums, spindles bad, this kit will be cheaper in the long term.

If you'd like to purchase a master cylinder that will work, you can use a 1974-80 Scout II master cylinder.
