Stainless Steel Twin Stick Kit for ALL 1971-80 Scout II, Terra and Traveler with either Dana 20 or Dana 300 transfer case.

Kit includes heavy duty twin stick boot.

This transfer case shifter works equally well for manual or automatic transmission applications or applications where the "one size fits all" twin-stick shifter puts the shifter handles up under your dash!

The location of the shifter handles are above, left and just slightly forward of the shifter pivot bracket on the transfer case. (very close to stock location).

These shifters are designed to be rock-solid you won't find any "one size fits all" erector set looking brackets held together with ny-lock nuts that are not designed for heat.

We use only, all metal, mechanical self-locking hardware.

This shifter comes with installation / adjustment instructions, boot, chrome ring, shift pattern decal, and even stainless steel screws to finish it off!

Note: Not all installations / applications are the same, some floor trimming or shifter adjustment might be necessary.

Compared to do it yourself, its quick easy and attractive. Most important problem to note:I did not realize it for a while, but the linkage that sleeves over the front drive shift rail was hitting the front of my transfer case, causing partial front low engagement. Doesn't seem to be any harm done, it will be easy to fix and eliminate rattle while I'm at it. Just trimming the sleeve a bit shorter with a angle grinder(15 bucks harbor freight) and making a lengthwise cut, to squeeze the sleeve on to the shift rail to eliminate rattle. The shape of the stix with my stick shift trans did barely allow me to drive to a buddies house who has a setaline torch-made bending the very easy. The Shift boot was okay-but some will worry it is too stiff and will apply preassure to the shifters in certain gears. All in all I love it! Super cool and has some usefulness off road. I removed the shift rail "pills" entirely-a simple way to allow every drive option-just don't let someone drive who is inexperience enough to accidentally put one end in low and the other in high.
