Q: The door window frame channel on my L110 has an metal "L" riveted to the frame where the vent window vertical weatherstrip goes. Presumably the original weatherstrip was riveted to the frame, but no replacement that I've seen has a metal L-shaped insert. My plan is to take out the "L" and glue the new weatherstrip to the window frame. Is there another approach that I should consider?
