Q: Why exactly is this needed when converting to disk brakes? I am converting to disc brakes and I can see that the battery would need to be relocated if I was to convert to power brakes but the new disc brake master cylinder seems to fit just fine in the stock location without modification. Also just out of curiosity where exactly would this relocation tray go, is that up to the customer or do you have a recommendation/preference?
A: Mainly if you run a brake booster or something where it hits the battery.
The tray was designed to mount on the firewall behind the V8 engine. Thanks.
