Replacement speedometer cable that fits all 1961-80 Scout 80, Scout 800 and Scout II including Terra or Traveler with 2 or 4 wheel drive.

These cables also fit on 1961-75 IH Pickup or Travelall

All cables have the same ends as shown in picture. The small end is 5/8-18 and the large end is 7/8-18.

Choose cable length when ordering. Scout II's use a 87" long cable. Scout 80 or Scout 800 will use either a 67" or 75" cable depending on which transmission and transfer case combo you have. Keep one thing in mind when ordering is that it is better to order a little long than a little short.

Replaces IH part numbers 341208C91 or 341210C91 or 341212C91.

I installed this Speedometer Cable when I installed the new Body Bushings. It's a little long for the Scout II but was easy to loop it toward the back and then go forward. This installed very easily and I used 2 clamps to secure the cable to the Floorboard mounts. It's nice to have the Speedo finally working.

 

Q: There are two cables. One goes from cruise control box to speedometer and one goes to transmission. I need the one that goes to the transmission, what is the part number on that and do you carry it?
A: We do not offer the speedometer cables for the cruise control box.
