Change a Scout’s 2.6:1 stock ratio to a true, 4.0:1 low-range
ratio.
This low-range gear replacement kit benefits from the Dana
300’s strength and durability. It allows the IH Scout owner
to enhance trail performance by maximizing the crawl ratio.
Installation of this kit into your transfer case will
increase your crawl ratio by 50 percent. This kit is relatively
easy to install depending on your skill level. There are no
driveshaft changes, or special shift linkages required.
It comes complete with all necessary gaskets and seals.
Includes a new shift rail with increased detent pockets
to help with twin stick applications. The Scout kit
requires some internal case grinding.
